C&M Water Supports Moretonhampstead Swimming Pool with £750 Donation
As a Devon-based company, C&M Water is proud to play an active role in supporting local projects that make a real difference to community safety and wellbeing.
This summer, we were delighted to present a £750 donation to Moretonhampstead Swimming Pool, helping the trustees and volunteers with their ongoing appeal to refurbish and reline the community pool.
The pool, which has served the town for over 40 years, is run entirely by local trustees and volunteers who dedicate their time to maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for swimmers of all ages. After decades of repainting with epoxy coatings, the pool’s surface had begun to deteriorate, creating a potential safety concern. To ensure the pool’s long-term future, the team launched a fundraising campaign to raise £50,000 to reline the pool with fibreglass — a major investment in safety and sustainability.
Supporting Safe Fun in the Water
At C&M Water, we know the importance of clean, safe, and well-maintained water systems; whether that’s in a hospital, care home, or community swimming pool. Supporting projects like this aligns perfectly with our mission to help people enjoy water safely.
Managing Director Gareth Cooper, joined by his daughter who recently came on board at the company, met with pool trustees to present the cheque and discuss ongoing support for 2026.
“We’re proud to support Moretonhampstead Swimming Pool and the incredible volunteers behind it,” said Gareth. “They’ve worked hard to make sure local families have a safe place to swim, and we’re glad to do our part to help keep that going.”
